I love these philosophies. I like to do something similar. I assume that I will die at 50. That means two things.

First, I need to stop and smell the roses as often as possible.

Second, I need to put in consistent hard work to achieve all the goals I have set for myself.

Or, to put it another way, be patient enough to enjoy your life but urgent enough to make continual progress.
